FExtravaganza ! The Fumbally’s 5th Birthday celebrations

FEx goes 5 this year!

From 11th – 18th of September 2015 we will be celebrating the power of collaboration to create a change! It is two weeks fulfilled with many events which would be hold at our ground floor event space at 5Dame Lane, Dublin 2

As an important element of the festivities is the exhibition on the very pertinent theme of ‘Transformation’. It is another intriguing collection of artworks from the members of our creative hub Fumbally Exchange. Many of the members have more than one string to their bow, and this is the creativty and transformation the exhibition celebrates.

Fexhibition includes drawings from talented students of the Graham Thew’s FExy Sketch Club, colorful wall of stylish bike’s illustrations of #100DaysOfBicycles challenge which was completed by  our very talented illustrator Melissa Doran.  You can find also some FExy graphic designs, photography of Jeanette Lowe capturing some unique urbanspaces. The FEx on Film team  made a special video installations and we have even interactive pirate’s game designed by award winning Llaura (dreamfeel) and Mark Mulligan (3d visual artist ).

After the success of our previous Fexhibitions: Elemental and Tell the Transformation is a must see! And from this reflection of George Boyle  on launching the exhibition you will known why this FExhibition is so Extraordinary !

To celebrate  Fumbally Exchange’s 5th Birthday we are organising series of special FExa-Kucha talks inspired by origin Pecha-Kucha – short presentations on a Transformation topic with our greatest Fumballiers as a speakers. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder.

For Friday’s evening we have prepared Fumballistic Birthday Party for all of FEx members, Fumbally’s Family and Friends it will be very special evening with a FExy gratitude awards ceremony and special guests.

Transformation: Creative Thinkers Moving Humanity Forward’
 

As part of the 5th birthday celebrations we’ll be welcoming a globally-recognised thought leader in sustainable economic development and entrepreneurship (and TED talk star with 2.3 million hits), Dr. Ernesto Sirolli to the Fumbally.

On Thursday September 17 at 5:30 at the Fumbally, Ernesto will be speaking at a public event around his work with corporates and communities around the world.

IT is not the end of FExy Events!

Join us on Culture Night as we celebrate the closing evening of our ‘Transformation’ exhibition, featuring the artistic excellence of our Fumballiers. We’ll be open from 6-9pm on Dame Lane, and we’re delighted to be joined by our special guest, the wonderful singer-songwriter Grainne Hunt Music, at 7.30. Promises to be a great evening!
